The largest and most trusted Indian eye care network, Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital, launches a specialised corneal transplant centre in Mauritius, and a new advanced eye care hospital in Guduvanchey, Chennai, and launches its new eye hospital at Preet Vihar, New Delhi. Dharambeer Gokhool, President of Mauritius, Chennai, inaugurated the specialized corneal transplant and Pinhole Pupilloplasty centre at Ebene, which Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital established.

According to a press release, this center is expected to serve as a regional hub for advanced corneal surgeries and provide good care to patients from Mauritius and neighbouring African countries.

In India, the facility offers advanced techniques developed and refined, such as PDEK (Pre-Descemet’s Endothelial Keratoplasty), CAIRS (Corneal Allogenic Intrastromal Ring Segment), and Pinhole Pupilloplasty.

It is the 89th hospital of the group in Tamil Nadu, and it offers modern eye care with the latest machines and operating theatres. The hospital’s aim is to provide patient-friendly, high-quality eye treatment and check-ups to give the best treatment to the patients.

Dr Arjun D will lead the clinical team, a senior Ophthalmologist, with the support of other experienced specialists; they provide the treatment of cataracts, retinacornea, glaucoma, refractive, and oculoplastic. By entering into the national capital with its advanced eye hospital, it represents a significant milestone, which continues growth in Delhi NCR and also operates four hospitals, which bring world-class ophthalmic care across the whole region.

The new hospital was inaugurated by Shri Harsh Malhotra, Dr Harsh Vardhan, Om Prakash Sharma, and Sri Ramesh Kumar Garg, all of whom are special personalities: Union Minister of State for Road and Highways and Corporate, Former Union Health Minister, Member of Delhi Legislative Assembly, and Municipal Councillor. Padma Shri awardee Dr J. S. Titiyal led the center. With the help of his excellence, experience in education, and advanced corneal treatment, he played a vital role in improving eye care and health all over the country.
